Ryanair to open 33rd base at Porto, Portugal

Irish low-cost airline Ryanair said on Thursday that it is opening its 33rd base at Porto, Portugal, with two based aircraft and four new routes from the airport.

Ryanair will be offering 50 daily return flights, on a total of 16 routes, to and from Porto, when its opens its base there.

The four new routes from Porto are to Basel, Eindhoven, St Etienne and Tours, which will all be launched in September. The airline is also doubling the frequency of its flights to Paris Beauvais to twice daily.

According to Ryanair, these changes will increase its passenger traffic at Porto to 1.5m passengers annually, sustaining 1,500 local jobs.

To promote the opening of its new base, Ryanair is offering 1m seats for travel across its European network in late August, September and October, priced at EUR9. These tickets are available to purchase until midnight on 5 June.

Buying and selling pairs simultaneously is good in forex trading

   One will wonder if it is possible to buy and sell currencies at the same time and not incur losses on a forex trading  session. Most traders think one would be taking a huge risk by selling and buying currencies at the same time, but they do not realize that it is possible that the Grid system allows gain in whatever way the market trends are moving.  A trader that enters a trading market  session for instance when a pair of currencies is at 250 level, and the price moves to 500 during a trading session, this means his currency trading at buying option will appreciate. He can transfer the gain of 500 to his account while  selling at this time means one would lose 500.

    The first selling option would break even at 500 while the second buy remains -250. If he decides to cash the sell at this point, his total cash is brought to 750 while he closes his transactions. He has only lost 250 and gains 750. One can always capitalize on market fluctuations by buying and selling at the same time and closing transactions when the market is favourable to them at different periods of trading. The good thing about buying and selling simultaneously is the fact that currency tradings break even at different periods, one can close one transaction and allow other transactions to make gains. You need enough cash in your  forex trading account however to be able to trade multiple pairs of currencies at the same time.

How to make use of Trends in Forex Trading

    Trends are necessary tools one need to follow in order to minimize or stop losses and make gains in Forex trading. Long term  forex trading gains depends on how much one can predict and analyze  currency trading trends. Most currency traders make mistakes by following small movements on currency trades and they take every small gains they make, they do not go after the long term profits.

    The best way to make money in Forex trading is to make use of break-outs while trading. Break-outs are the resistances or supports that are broken on a forex chart where a new high or low occur. Whenever there is a break-out on a trade, you have a new strong trend while the probability of a pull back to occur is very low. The resistance or support that is broken should be valid  that is 3 points at least  in 2 different times. The levels become more valid as the spacings between the tests become wider.

   One other way to make lots of profit in forex trading is to confirm each move while the trading is on. Not every break-out is true, hence you can not rely solely on break-outs. You need to confirm your trading signal by using momentum indicators on your forex trading platform. The use of indicators allow you to know the strength and velocity of prices you want to trade with.

   The use of Targets and stop losses is also an important strategy in forex trading.  Remember that it should be enough if you have made between 50-70% of your targeted profit. If you wait much longer, the trend may move out of your favour, hence you need to make use of the stop profit-stop loss tools on your platform.

Economic recession- US stocks hit 4 month-low

    The current economic recession that is hitting most European countries has taken its toll on the United States stocks. Some of the major United States stocks and Corporations including; Dow Jones, Standard and Poor, Washington Mutual Inc, Wachovia Corp, National City Corp, Allegheny Technologies Inc, and US steel Corporation all had their values depleted in the last four months. Standard and Poor’s 500 index had its steepest slump since May, while Washington Mutual Inc went down by  95% after regulators seized the lenders of the organization. A third of the values of both National city Corp and Wachovia Corp were lost while some other major corporations witnessed a sudden surge in borrowing costs.

   The Dow Jones industrial Average was devalued by more than 2% ,while S & P 500 was devalued by 3.6%. The Russell 2000 index of average and small company stocks was also devalued by 6.5%. Top executives and large corporation managers have expressed the fear that the recent failure of the American congress’ to approve a $700 billion bank bailout might aggravate the recession witnessed by the United States stocks.  Members of the  United States Congress have been trying to reach a consensus in the past few  weeks to secure a financial succor for the economy, failure of which might result in further devaluation of stocks Nationwide.
